From Oversized Cargo To RORO Shipments
***VIA SDQ: St. MAARTEN, PUERTO RICO, TORTOLA, ST THOMAS, ST CROIX, PORT-AU-PRINCE, SURINAME, GUYANA, FRENCH CAYENNE.
The ship has a capacity of 9,766 cubic meters / 3500 metric tons.
It has 3 decks:
1- Upper deck which has fittings for containers, which can carry oversized project cargoes, pipelines, others.
2- Main deck which is the one that has a RORO stern ramp for the merchandise to roll in, or it can be filled with breakbulk merchandisesuch as big bags, pallets, steel, etc.
3- Lower deck that can also carry carts and breakbulk.
We have 15 years of experience with the CARICOM market, the last 3 years in chartering in the area.
Price is quoted per project, soon we will be establishing prices per route which is what we are working on for the end of the year.
Payment conditions are 50% upon signing the contract and 50% upon loading.
Each customer is in charge of the imports once they have their import license, the BL is sent to them in advance so they can check it and declare it to customs.
If you tell us what the project consists of, it is evaluated with the operations team to accommodate loading and unloading needs.
The shipowner is in charge of the crew and all the cargo and its security.
M3 has its own PI policy for the vessel, additionally we have a Civil Liability policy, forwarders liability policy, and cargo insurance.
We are currently in discussions for a cooperation with two other shipowners that would support us in the event of additional voyages that exceed our delivery capacity.
The coverage area is the Caribbean, as we want to stay within reach of our customers and at distances where we can respond quickly.
